Hassan Ahmed Elhag Baba

Hassan Ahmed Elhag Baba is a Sudanese professional born on October 21, 1967. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematical Sciences from the University of Khartoum’s Faculty of Science and an M.Sc. in Telecommunications Electronics from the same university’s Faculty of Engineering.

Professionally, Hassan is an experienced ICT systems designer, specializing in data centers and IT infrastructure design. He is also a certified designer of ICT policies and procedure manuals. Over the years, he has held various significant positions, including consultant at the University of Khartoum’s Internet and Computer Unit from 2000 to 2002, technical manager at Zinanet ISP and Communications Company from 1999 to 2006, technical consultant at Naris Software and Database Solutions from 2006 to 2010, and currently serves as a technical consultant for Riwag Electronic Education Systems since 2012.

In addition to his professional achievements, Hassan is actively involved in social and civil society activities. He is a member of the Sudan Forum for Science Promotion in the Department of Physics at the University of Khartoum and heads the Science Education Program for Children under 14. He is also a member of the Sudanese Space and Astronomy Club and engages in initiatives related to Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Furthermore, Hassan is an environmental activist, working with various professional entities and societies to promote environmental sustainability.
