Dr. Rania Mohamed Hassan Baleela

Dr. Rania Baleela has been engaged in the field of molecular biology and open science training for more than 13 years. With a wealth of experience, she holds diverse roles as an advocate for open science. Throughout her career, she has championed the principles of open science by educating, mentoring, and overseeing students, fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accessibility in research. Serving as the EIFL.net Open Access Country Coordinator from 2012-2024, she has played a pivotal role in promoting open access to research in Sudan, while also providing training to librarians.
