QRDI is pleased to launch the inaugural cycle of the Displaced Arab Researchers (DAR) fellowship program. DAR provides a unique opportunity for experts from Palestine, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, whose careers have been disrupted by conflict, to continue their research in collaboration with Qatar’s top universities. As a fixed-term fellowship, DAR provides these experts with a platform to continue their scientific endeavors, ensuring that their expertise and skills are not lost during times of crisis. It also contributes to Qatar’s growing prominence as a leading hub for scientific excellence. Ultimately, the goal is to prepare these scientists for their eventual return home to rebuild their countries’ academic networks and infrastructure, ensuring a lasting impact on regional development.
